Use the Post Flower Pot”: and the Plant Stake”: to create your own elevated garden. Instead of creating a dedicated garden in your yard. Just plant a few herbs or vegetables in the flower pots posted on top of iron plant stakes.

The benefits:

Elevated. Keeps small critters from digging up your plants and ruining precious growing food. Additionally, this works great for those with back or knee problems. Eliminate bending over or down for a few ingredients to that days meal.

Winter Herb Garden

The Post Flower Pot and the wrought iron Pot Plant Stand make for an excellent herb garden any time of the year. But why not use it now during the winter months?

During the winter months, plants need less water because growth either ceases or slows to a crawl. If you live in a cold climate you can still have some growth from your herbs for cooking. If you live in the southern states of America or a warming climate year round, then an herb garden inside is even more ideal as you will have more sunlight for plant growth. Keep in mind, many southern states still get snow or frost, even Florida and Louisiana. It is essential, no matter where you live, to bring your pants indoors or at least have protected.

Indoor Winter Worm and Compost Bed

One absolutely great and ingenious idea that has been in the organic community for a long time is the use of worms in composting every little house scrap. It’s not so much about creating as little waste as possible as it is about getting so much out of your waste.

What you will need
  1. Pot Plant Stand
  2. Flower Pots
  3. Lids (wood, plastic, cardboard, etc.)
  4. Worms (2 cups of red worms)
  5. Dirt (enough for each pot 60% full)
  6. Kitchen Scraps (for a list of acceptable scraps )

Directions:
